For the protection of our passengers as well as our staff, we clearly outline and communicate various company policies to help make your travel safe, efficient and enjoyable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Charter cancellation policy: Fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to departure; within 48-24 hours we require 50% of the total amount agreed upon, within 24 hours no refund available. Scenic flight cancellation Policy: Fully refundable up to 24 hours prior; within 24 hours no refund. Credit Card will be required at time of booking to reserve the aircraft.

WEATHER INFORMATION

Tofino Air’s charter and scheduled service require optimal flying weather. We will always do the best we can to accommodate your travel as booked, but as you might know the weather on our beloved West Coast is quite unpredictable and your safety is our highest priority.  

We evaluate our schedule as the weather unfolds in front of us. Weather cancellations, aircraft substitutions and the need for travel alternatives can arise last minute. We need to ensure that you get to your destination, so here is an outline of the measures in place when limited or no communication between us is available we cannot complete your travel as planned. 

If it is determined that your flight can not commenced as reserved we will attempt to reach you and communicate this message. In the event we cannot reach you and you have authorized us to provide you with alternative transport, Tofino Air will arrange travel and you will be responsible for any extra charges incurred above the fees paid to us for the flight being cancelled. Any additional fees will be charged to your CC on file at the time of us booking your new travel itinerary should you authorize us to provide you with alternative transport on the departure waiver.

In some cases, we will have the option to substitute the aircraft you have chartered to the larger one that handles stronger weather patterns. If you want that to be the first option over alternative transportation, please communicate that with your CSA at check in. Note: If the upgrade is not possible, we will automatically arrange you other transport unless you have requested the full cancellation option at check in.

Baggage Allowance: charters, scenics and scheduled flights

  • Baggage limitations with Tofino Air charters are determined for each flight at the time of booking based on load factors provided. Please be prepared to provide our customer service agents with body weights of all passengers.

  • Scenic Tours: Allows for 10lb per person of hand luggage

  • Hot Springs Cove 4 hour tour: Allows for 25lb per person

  • Scheduled flights: Allows for 25lb per person

Reservations & Cancellations

  • A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation. Payment will be processed prior to departure

  • It is strongly recommended to re-confirm your reservation details 24-hours prior to departure.

  • Customers who do not show up for their flight will forfeit the full fare paid

Identification and Check-In

  • Minimum 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Identification may be required for all guests. Infants under 2 fly for free and may require proof of age.
