LIFE JACKETS
Transport Canada requires Life Jackets to be worn during all flights except for children under 2 years of age. Life Jackets will be provided.
For the protection of our passengers as well as our staff, we clearly outline, communicate, and enforce various company policies to help make your travel safe, efficient and enjoyable.
IDENTIFICATION AND CHECK-IN
All passengers (18 yrs and older) are required provide government issued photo ID prior to boarding. All passengers are required to check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time listed on their itinerary. Boarding will commence 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Agents cannot guarantee boarding upon late arrival.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
All baggage and cargo (including laptop bags and purses) brought on board must be weighed prior to boarding an aircraft
Each paid seat has 25lbs of luggage included in the ticket and is guaranteed to fly with you
Excess baggage will be charged per lb and will fly on a stand by basis as required
SCA strongly recommends adhering to the above luggage restrictions to avoid travel delays and disruptions, we hold no liability or responsibility for luggage that cannot be accommodated
Luggage that cannot be accommodated will be sent over on the next flight with available room to accommodate luggage that was not able to be transported with the passenger
FEES, TAXES AND SURCHARGES
All fees associated with scheduled flights are included in the prices listed online, these charges are as follows:

- Whale.org fee
RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
- Reservations can be made online or by calling in to any Sunshine Coast Air office
- Confirmation itineraries will be sent out at the time of booking and the day prior to the scheduled flight
- A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation. Payment will be processed at the time of the booking or within the cancellation policy period
- All fares and credits are non-transferrable. Name changes are seen as a cancellation and penalties based on the fare class will apply
- If SCA is unable to complete flight service for any reason, alternative methods of transportation may be required to complete your travel requirements. These decisions are up to the discretion of SCA management prior to or at the time of departure
- It is strongly recommended to reconfirm your reservation details 24-hours prior to departure
- Customers who do not show up for their flight, or cancel outside of the cancellation period will forfeit the full fare paid

Scenic Tours

Charter & Scheduled Service Flights
All passengers are required to check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time listed in your confirmation email for all scenic tours. Boarding will commence 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Agents cannot guarantee boarding upon late arrival.
All passengers 18 years+ must provide valid (non-expired) government issued photo ID upon check in.
The safety of our passengers is our number one priority. Following Transport Canada regulations, Tofino Air requires passengers body weights to ensure each flight is flown with safe weight limits and is properly balanced.
Scheduled Service Flights
Each passenger has up to 25lbs of luggage per paid seat included in their ticket and is guaranteed to fly with them on all scheduled routes. This includes all baggage, including personal items such as purses, backpacks and laptops.
Luggage in excess of 25 lbs will be charged at check-in and will fly on a stand-by basis as flight availability allows.
Tofino Air does not have offices at locations outside of Tofino, BC. Excess luggage that is unable to be accommodated at these locations is the responsibility of the passenger. Tofino Air holds no liability or responsibility for luggage that cannot be accommodated.
All baggage, including purses & laptops must travel in the cargo compartment.
Individual bags may not weigh more than 50lbs each. Due to the nature of the aircraft, larger sized suitcases may not be able to be accommodated.

Tofino Air does not have offices at locations outside of Tofino, BC. Excess luggage that is unable to be accommodated at these locations is the responsibility of the passenger. Tofino Air holds no liability or responsibility for luggage that cannot be accommodated.

Tofino Air is unable to transport Dangerous Goods
Our goal is to provide safe and reliable service to our passengers; however, some weather factors may impact service. Should factors impede our service, we will do our best to provide as much notice as we are able to, and travel alternatives where required. Weather cancellations, aircraft substitutions, and travel alternatives will be determined and addressed by management at their discretion.
Scheduled service flights between Tofino-Long Beach Airport and Victoria operate out of the Victoria Flying Club.
Tofino Harbour
The Tofino Air float plane base office is located at 50 First Street, Tofino, BC. There is not parking at the Tofino Air office. There is street and pay parking throughout town. Parking within town is a 4-hour maximum. There is limited RV Parking within the town of Tofino. Please allow time to find parking within town and walk to our office for your check in.
Tofino-Long Beach Airport
The Long Beach Airport is at 188 Airport Road, Tofino BC. Check-in is at the Tofino Air Kiosk inside the terminal. There is onsite pay parking adjacent to the terminal and is on a first come first serve basis. Restrooms are located within the terminal.
Victoria Flying Club
The Victoria Flying Club is located at 1852 Canso Road, North Saanich, BC. This is a pilot check-in location, and the pilot will meet you at the gate to the left of the front door. If the weather is inclement, the pilot will meet you inside. Before you reach Victoria Flying Club take a right on Hampden Road, parking facing the Flying Club with the red brick building behind you. Look for signage indicating Victoria Flying Club parking. Please ensure you do not park in a reserved staff stall. This is a free parking area.

VICTORIA SCHEDULED SERVICE
- Within 12-24 hours of scheduled departure time: Changes are subject to change fees where available
- Within 12 hours of scheduled departure time: No changes are permitted
SCENIC TOURS
- Changes made to departure dates or times will be charged a per person change fee and are based on availability. No shows will be charged in full to the credit card on file.

VICTORIA SCHEDULED SERVICE
- More than 24 hours prior to scheduled departure time: Cancellations are eligible for Tofino Air flight credit. Flight credits are valid for 12 months from the date of original travel
- Within 24 hours of scheduled departure time: Cancellations are non-refundable. No flight credits are provided
SCENIC TOURS
- Flights are non-refundable within 24 hours of your scheduled departure time. No shows will be charged in full.

Tofino Air is unable to transport Dangerous Goods.

- Flammable Liquids and solids: fuel, paint, thinners, lighters, matches, e-cigarettes
- Gases: camping stove fuel, portable gas stove
- Batteries: Lithium batteries (phones & iPads ok), we cell batteries
- Explosives: flares, fireworks, sparklers
- Toxic Substances: acids, poisons, bleach, solvents
- Knives, Scissors, and other sharp objects
- Radioactive materials
- Magnetized materials
- Infection substances
- Other hazardous materials: dry ice
One animal per flight is allowed on scheduled service and charter flights only. Animals are not allowed on scenic tours.

All animals accompanying passengers cannot be booked online and is subject to availability. Maximum of one animal per flight. The animal must be in a hard-shelled crate and will be placed in the cargo area of the aircraft.
The animal and crate cannot weigh more than 25lbs combined weight. Crate dimensions must not exceed 25″ x 16.5″ x 14.5″. Weight will go towards the luggage allowance included in your ticket.
