For the protection of our passengers as well as our staff, we clearly outline and communicate various company policies to help make your travel safe, efficient and enjoyable.

Identification and Check-In

Minimum 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Identification may be required for all guests. Infants under 2 fly for free with an adult paying full fare and may require proof of age. There are no children's discounts on the Tofino / Bamfield flight.

Baggage Allowance

• 25 lbs. per passenger. Excess baggage charge is $0.50 per lb. plus HST as space is available.
• There is no guarantee that over weight baggage will travel on the same flight as the guest.

Fees, Taxes and Surcharges

• HST - Harmonized Sales Tax (12%)
• Online Booking Admin Fee (tba)
• Fuel surcharge may apply
• Carbon offset (tba)

Reservations & Cancellations

• A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation. Payment will be processed at the time of the flight.
• If Tofino Air is unable to complete flight service for any reason, alternative methods of transportation may be utilized to complete your travel requirements. These decisions are up to the discretion of Tofino Air management.
• If Tofino Air has to cancel your flight due to conditions beyond their control, or is unable to honour your reservation, you will be given a travel voucher to be used on any of our routes within 12 months of the date it is issued.
• It is strongly recommended to reconfirm your reservation details 24-hours prior to departure.

What is our cancellation policy?

Nanaimo – Sechelt and Vancouver Harbour – Nanaimo routes

• Changes and cancellations can be made up to 3 hours prior to departure by calling 1-855-647-7560.

Silva Bay – YVR

• Changes and cancellations can be made up to 12 hours prior to departure by calling 1-800-665-2359.
• Tickets are non-refundable for cancellations and changes after the allotted time, but may be transferable to another passenger for an administration fee.

Typical administration fee:

• $25/flight on shorter routes (Sechelt, Nanaimo, Vancouver, Gabriola)
• $50/flight on longer routes and charters (Tofino)

Customers who do not show up for their flight will forfeit the full fare paid.
