Important Passenger Information

For the protection of our passengers as well as our staff, we clearly outline and communicate various company policies to help make your travel safe, efficient and enjoyable.

Check-In

Minimum 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Baggage Allowance

25 lbs. per passenger. Excess baggage charge is $0.50 per lb. plus HST as space is available.

Reservations & Cancellations

A credit card number is required to complete your reservation. Payment will be processed at the time of the reservation.

If Tofino Air is forced to cancel your flight due to weather conditions*, or is unable to honour your reservation, you will be given a travel voucher to be used within 12 months of the date it is issued or a full refund.

It is strongly recommended to reconfirm your reservation details 24-hours prior to departure.

What is our cancellation policy?

Changes and cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to departure and must be made by calling the Base Manager. Tickets are non-refundable for cancellations and changes within the 48-hour period but may be transferable. Customers who do not show up for their flight will forfeit the full fare paid. There are two exceptions to this 'no show' policy:

  • Major medical emergencies
  • Transportation issues (ferry, road conditions, etc.) due to serious weather conditions
*From time to time, ground transportation may be used to complete your travel. These decisions are weather-dependent and up to the discretion of Tofino Air management.
